St. John the Baptist Faith Formation program offers opportunities for youth to encounter Jesus, to learn what the Catholic Church teaches, to discover how to live the faith in their daily lives and to share the Good News of the Gospel with others.
In the 1930s, Jesus appeared to St. Maria Faustina Kowalska several times. He shared His message of Divine Mercy – the depths of His love and mercy — and charged St. Faustina with sharing this message with the world. “I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in My mercy,” He told her (Diary 687). In 2000, Pope St. John Paul II canonized Faustina and designated the Second Sunday of Easter as Divine Mercy Sunday. Join us in observing this feast!
Seal the Doorposts!
We encourage you to “seal the doorposts” of your home by posting the Image of Divine Mercy, a manifestation of your trust in the promise of the Lord’s protection.
We, the faith community of St. John the Baptist Parish, believe that we are called daily to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ: to learn, to share, and to live the message of Jesus. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we recognize that we are unique with diverse gifts from God and that we are to develop these gifts to nurture and strengthen our faith community.
